Follow the Sun – Video Promotion

Dramedy following one extended family with members living in three different international time-zones: Italy, USA, Australia. Primarily using iPhone “group chat”, shared news from one family group is sent while other groups are asleep (due to time zones). As the Sun rises, each family turns on their respective phone(s), awakening to 15-30 new messages buzzing with emotion, from the family that most recently went to sleep.

Opening shot is a close-up of an iPhone as anonymous fingers push the on button. The boot-up Apple icon is quickly followed a burst of incoming messages, like an emotional alarm clock for a groggy sleeper.

Leverage iPhone devices to simplify message delivery and create Product partnership and/or promotion with Apple. Initial 30 second or one-minute video-ad could scale to episodic Series. Episodes could feature cameo’s by celebrity acquaintances, a la “six degrees of Kevin Bacon”. Each Series could involve distinct extended families, in different time zones, a la “White Lotus”.
